The “hardest thing” about raising their children, according to Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, is their money.

“We have staff members who clean for us. People provide our food for us. If necessary, we have individuals who will drive us to the airport. On a recent episode of Spotify’s “Drive” podcast, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback remarked, “We get off an aircraft and there’s people waiting outside for us and we are hustled in.

“That’s the reality my kids live in, and it’s hard to tell them, ‘Guys, this isn’t how reality actually is.'” What can we do to address that?

Brady and Bündchen have a 12-year-old son named Benjamin and a 9-year-old daughter named Vivian. Brady is said to have a net worth of $250 million. He and his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan co-parent their 14-year-old son John “Jack.”

The Brazilian supermodel, 41, and NFL star, 44, claimed they make his children more approachable by giving them “experiences that are more along the lines of what most kids go through,” but he acknowledged that in the end, his children will “still have experiences that a lot of kids never do have.”

Brady claimed that because of their modest upbringing, he and Bündchen now recognize and value their privilege.

“My wife grew up in rural Brazil, the farthest state south, Rio Grande do Sul, very small kind of farming town, very simple girl,” he explained. “There are two bedrooms in their house — one for their parents and one for her and her five sisters.

“I grew up in, I would say, a middle-class family in California. My dad worked his ass off for our family,” he continued. “My mom stayed at home [and] took care of us kids, and I saw my mom work every day to make food for us at night and wash our clothes.”

The Brady designer admitted that he has “screwed up a lot of things,” which he called “the reality of being a parent,” but he said he hopes that his kids realize the luxuries they experience are just treats.
