Stan Lee, the founder of Marvel Comics, would have turned 100 years old today. An original documentary on the man will debut on Disney+ sometime in 2023 as a way to celebrate.

In 2018, Lee passed away at age 95. Fans anxiously anticipate his cameos in the popular Marvel flicks centered on characters like Spider-Man, the Avengers, the X-Men, the Hulk, and the Fantastic Four, among many others.

As a writer and editor for Marvel Comics, Lee rose to prominence as the most well-known comic book creator ever; he was the only one whose notoriety surpassed that of the characters he created. At the age of 17, he had his first prose tale published in the fifth issue of Captain America Comics, which launched his career. But it was the 1960s when Lee earned his name and tapped into a well of pop-culture innovation that changed the course of human history.

The incident occurred in November 2017, when a concertgoer at Masquerade became enraged after two persons – later identified as Giovan Diaz and Ewell Ynoa – went onto the stage between performances. The enraged spectator pulled out a gun and fired at the stage, striking the two who had climbed up. One died at the site, and the other died from their injuries after being brought to the hospital.

The perpetrator also shot two other concertgoers, although they were not killed. The shooter was not apprehended at the time, but he was eventually detained and identified as 25-year-old Jonathan Bautista by authorities.

Cousin Stizz expressed his sympathy to those deceased in a tweet sent shortly after the shooting.
