AFC Richmond is not going to be deterred by hardship.
Apple released a new teaser for Ted Lasso Season 3 on Tuesday, showing Coach Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) and the AFC Richmond squad struggling for success following their promotion and the departure of assistant coach Nate (Nick Mohammed) for West Ham United. Ted Lasso Season 3 launches on Apple TV+ on March 15th.
Things appear to be coming apart on and off the field in the new, 12-episode season of Ted Lasso, but this team won’t stop giving it their all. Ted struggles with his own problems at home as Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein), Beard’s assistant coach, steps up to help Ted deal with the responsibilities at work (Brendan Hunt). Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is working hard to defeat Rupert’s (Anthony Head) rival club, while Keeley (Juno Temple) is having trouble with her relationship because of her new roles as the head of her own PR firm.
One of the greatest comedies of all time, Ted Lasso, is back on Apple TV+. The second season, which debuted in July 2021, broke records by winning four total Emmys, making it the comedy with the most wins for the second year in a row (Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Comedy Actor and Supporting Actor, and Outstanding Directing). Ted Lasso joins a select group of just seven previous shows, such as Cheers and 30 Rock, that have won the overall award in its first two years with the win for Outstanding Comedy Series.
