In the UK, “Jurassic Park In Concert” will be performed.
This fall, the acclaimed blockbuster will be shown in theaters all throughout the nation while the Halle Orchestra, one of Britain’s greatest symphonic ensembles, performs the film’s award-winning John Williams score.
As “Jurassic Park” commemorates its 30th anniversary, the concerts will provide viewers a chance to experience the science fiction classic like never before. On October 18, they begin in the Manchester AO Arena and move on to the Birmingham Resorts World, Leeds First Direct Arena, Nottingham Motorpoint, and finally the M and S Bank Arena in Liverpool.
In “Jurassic Park,” a theme park that recently opened on a secluded island with exhibits showcasing recently restored dinosaurs as a result of a scientific discovery is described.
When Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) go to the park, the dinosaur residents escape and take over the planet Earth once more, leaving the two doctors battling for their lives.
A successful 1993 premiere of Steven Spielberg’s film led to a series of six films and nearly three decades later.
“We’re thrilled to launch AEG Artistic Presents with the 30th Anniversary celebration that will be Jurassic Park In Concert,” said Lucy Noble, artistic director of AEG Artistic Presents.
“Family audiences will have the chance to watch this movie like never before in a fully immersive way at the big arena spectacular screening of it with the Halle Orchestra performing the award-winning score. We still carry on with presenting these amazing events across the nation.
The Halle Orchestra’s CEO, David Butcher, stated: “The Halle is thrilled to be a part of this tour celebrating the 30th Anniversary of ‘Jurassic Park’.
“This is an incredible chance for the Halle to deliver the finest orchestral music for a crowd who may have never seen an orchestra in concert before.
“The legendary ‘Jurassic Park’ score allows the artists a chance to show off their talent to new audiences outside of the norm.
“The iconic score from ‘Jurassic Park’ allows the musicians to present their work to new audiences outside of the typical Concert Hall settings.”
