Young Thug and Gunna are reportedly two of 28 defendants charged in a 56-page Fulton County, Georgia indictment. The indictment includes charges of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery, and participation in criminal street gang activity, according to WSB-TV reporter Michael Seiden.
The news outlet obtained exclusive video of Young Thug being arrested on Monday night (May 9). According to the indictment, the Young Slime Life (YSL) rapper faces charges of street gang activity and conspiracy to violate the RICO Act, while Gunna faces one count of conspiracy to violate the RICO Act.
According to Seiden, Young Thug is facing “serious allegations.” Prosecutors claim that “YSL is a criminal street gang that began in late 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue area of Atlanta” and is linked to the national Bloods gang.
According to the documents, Young Thug rented a 2014 Infiniti Q50 sedan from Hertz, which was later used in the murder of Donovan Thomas, Jr., a rival gang member, in January 2015.
Prosecutors believe two YSL associates, Christian Eppinger and Antonio Sumlin, worked to get Young Thug’s permission to attempt to murder YFN Lucci again while he is in Fulton County Jail.
Young Thug was arrested and booked into Fulton County Jail around 10:30 p.m. local time, while Gunna has yet to be apprehended. Thugger’s first court date is set for Tuesday (May 10).
