Even though the Los Angeles native recently informed his followers that he was in desperate need of a mental health break, he still made time to drop off the tracklist on Monday for this Friday’s (August 12) much-anticipated release of Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind (August 8).
The new album has an astonishing 30 songs as promised, albeit the features have not yet been revealed. While songs like “Chrome Slugs & Harmony” and “Rubi’s Rose / Drake With The Braids (Interlude)” sound like he’ll have some surprises in store for listeners, titles like “Change The Game” and “How Far I Came” demonstrate that we’ll occasionally hear Jayceon Terrell Taylor in a reflective but braggadocious mood.

The Game earlier today proclaimed on Instagram that “DRILLMATIC is the REAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR.” “Out in full force at midnight on Friday, August 12th! I’ll commit to doing 30 for 30, without skipping. In the words of Hit-Boy, “issa 30 clip!”
According to HipHop-n-More, the “Eazy” hitmaker had previously stated that Hit-Boy and Kanye West would work together as co-executive producers, but that doesn’t appear to be the case any longer.
