The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to a source on Wednesday that Britney Spears is not in any danger after worried fans requested a health check from the agency.

A police representative stated, “I can confirm that we did receive calls into our dispatch, and basically, I can confirm that we do not believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or danger.”

The 41-year-old Spears was not directly contacted by the officer, and the officer would to say how many calls they received or how they learned she was okay.

The police spokeswoman stated that the lack of information was necessary because more transparency would undermine “public trust.”

The officer explained, “It’s just a privacy problem for the folks in our county.” “Public trust is a problem. Simply said, we don’t talk about those things [like wellness checks]. It is not illegal.

He continued, “I can’t confirm or deny that deputies went to her residence, but we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any sort of harm or danger at this point. We don’t really talk about any kind of mental health issues or anything like that.”

Some of the concerned fans who called the police on Tuesday used TikTok to video the requests for health checks.

In the audio clip, a caller who went by the name “Christina” can be heard saying, “I was calling because I am concerned about the physical safety of a citizen in your neighborhood.

“Christina” said, “There’s been questionable conduct online and now her account has been deleted,” when the officer inquired why the fan needed a health check.

Although the reason for her most recent hiatus is unknown, Spears has erased her Instagram several times in recent years. Previously, a source exclusively revealed that the “Stronger” singer simply enjoys occasional social media pauses.

The source stated in September 2021 that “she’s content and in a beautiful position,” adding that “quiet can be a strong thing and send a powerful message.”

At the time, the insider added, “This was her decision.

Before her most recent Instagram account was suspended, the “Hold Me Closer” singer shared a picture of a car with a lengthy message in which she discussed a number of topics but most notably said, “sucks to be me” and “Giving someone I love my everything only gives me the dagger in my heart!!!”

Since a recent story said that Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari, stormed out on the “Piece of Me” singer while they were out to dinner at a restaurant and fans were invading their privacy, some people speculated that possibly this message was hinting to marital difficulties.

The “Family Business” star swiftly refuted such claims, posting on his Instagram Stories, “Don’t believe what you read people.
