The official trailer for Netflix’s upcoming animated comedy Agent Elvis has been released, showing Matthew McConaughey in the lead voice-acting role of Elvis Presley.

The official logline for the movie is, “Elvis Presley switches in his jumpsuit for a jet pack when he is covertly inducted into a secret government spy program to battle the evil forces that threaten the country he loves — all while keeping down his day job as the King of Rock and Roll.”

Priscilla Presley and John Eddie are the creators of the show, and Mike Arnold serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Along with McConaughey, Kevin Noel, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, Ben Kalina, Jamie Salter, Corey Salter, and Marc Rosen, Eddie is a co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer.

In August 2019, a series order for Agent Elvis was made. “Ever since he was a tiny child, Elvis has dreamed of becoming a superhero that fights crime and saves the world! At the moment, Priscilla remarked, “Agent King permits him to do precisely that. We’re thrilled to be working with Netflix and Sony Animation on this incredible project and have the ability to introduce the world to a new side of Elvis, says my co-creator John Eddie.

The debut of Agent Elvis is slated for March. See the authorized teaser above.

In additional entertainment news, Jack Harlow made his acting debut in the White Men Can’t Jump first-look teaser.
